looks stupit I want ten

The best part of this is that the explanation is even sillier:

these aren’t even a “race” of khajit, they’re just regular khajit. Whether khajit end up like housecats or humans or a fucking lion is solely determined by what phase of the moons they’re born under.

image

So, you could be practically human, your sister could be a frickin smilodon, and your parents could just be housecats?

Wild

Hands down the best worldbuilding ever made; all other worldbuilding is cancelled forever

This is the only thing we need

Could you imagine telling your sister, who just wants you to open the tuna, neener neener neener who doesn’t have any thumbs?

Or “DAD. NEEDLE TOES, COME ON!”

You know this happens daily in so many Khajit households

oh my god i thought theyd never show this in-game

What does one even say to this

“Pspspspspspsp” generally.

There’s actually a quest in ESO where a Khajit asks you to rescue his daughter, with all the above lore fully known you arent too shocked when the evidence suggests his daughter is one of the housecat sized khajit. You later find out however, that he is a literal crazy cat man, his actual daughter finds you, she is humanoid, and explains the ‘daughter’ he wants you to find is just a house cat, and that her father’s cats are the reason her mother and her dont really speak with him anymore. You do still rescue his cat.

Like look a big part of why you're coming across so many autistic people online is that we don't know where else to go. We are very often isolated in real life interactions. Even whatever tiktok autistic you think is doing so well is probably different face to face. Online you can often stop to think about things more, and you don’t have to look people in the eye, and there's no chance of unwanted touch, and if you're worn out from socialising you can just close the window. It's definitely not universal, and I understand there are autistic people who also find online communication just as daunting, and yes there are still aspects of it that are confusing to me, but like, if and when it works, it's an escape. It's an exception. It's not an accurate reflection of how we are in society in general.

In online posts, you have all the time in the world to think of what to say.

In online posts, you can reread what you're saying before posting it.

In online posts, your body language and tone are irrelevant.

In online posts, you won't be interrupted and have assumptions made about what you were going to say.

In online posts, you don't have to wait until it's your turn to speak nor do you have to figure out when that is.

In online posts, you can't be physically attacked for what you say.

Also you do not have to be speaking in order to use the internet. You don't have to understand spoken language generally, and you can set and maintain incredibly firm boundaries.

I keep forgetting about Falkreath's existence. I think my failure in trying to bug Sinding out of prison wiped out my psyche of its memory

image

SGHFDSDF?!?!??!??

Falkreath is also full of minotaur and the final enemy is Domihaus, Morihaus's son. Assigned dom by zenimax

IS. IS THIS LORE FRIENDLY. IS THIS ALLOWED. DOMIHAUS, EVEN?!! DHFFGDfdhfh

Do you think Bethesda and Zenimax care about lore at this point???? They built this whole universe on the premise that, when a dragonbreak happens, ALL possible timelines eventually converge again and that ALL possible outcomes and events and nonsense in those timelines are all true at the same time once the timelines converge.

They could explain away Domihaus with a hand wave and a "shit happens when the numidium wakes up"

What I'M miffed about is that they called the dungeon "Falkreath Hold" and the dungeon only encapsulates the town of falkreath and the geographical area between the town and the place you have to enter the dungeon. Its like a lollipop-looking map and I was expecting Lake Ilinalta, the Twilight Sepulchre, etc.

First it was literally just the town, then there were goddamn minotaur all over the place, and then I realized the layout of the town was different from in Skyrim (which I can explain with "well, wars are fought all the time and they had to rebuild repeatedly, hence the cemetary and shop names"), just in time to realize I had to go through the hall of the dead to get to the jarl's longhouse (which is actually circular but whatever)???? and then Domihause happened and I was like "well, things are already so goddamn weird, this may as well happen"

Anyway, I want ESO to flesh out the area around Falkreath the town so I can go to Ancestor's Glade or something. Shriekwind Bastion, maybe. Have another thieves guild quest in Pinewatch. Theres a lot in falkreath and I would be okay with them just walling off the city area in-game with NPCs being like "yeah, that place is being bothered by minotaur and necromancers and shit, come fish from this lake enjoy the weather over here instead"

The Gimli Glider is one of those stories where every aspect sounds more fake than the last and yet it all actually happened.

-A passenger plane was underloaded with fuel because Canada had just converted to the metric system and everyone supposed to double check their numbers got it wrong.
-When the plane ran out of fuel they were too far away to make it to an in-service airport and had to head towards the Gimli military base.  Which was shuttered.
-They were coming in to fast due to a lack of flaps control and had to perform a series of slips (as shown in the video above) to slow down, basically drifting a giant passenger plane.
-As they come down they realized that just because Gimli’s been decommissioned doesn’t mean it’s abandoned because a bunch of people are having drag races on the runway they’re about to need.
-Despite everything they managed to land safely and no one was killed or even hurt which is why it’s one of the best air disasters to meme on.

The Wikipedia page on this is fantastic and my favorite line from it is “Flying with all engines out was never expected to occur, so it had never been covered in training.”
